| I am starting my seventh year
at Star of the Sea Elementary School with seventeen years of experience
as an art instructor. I have an Ohio Art Teaching Certificate as well
as one from Pennsylvania and Hawaii. I have been able to develop an art
curriculum based upon the National Standards in Art Education. This
includes hands on art production, art history, art in world cultures,
and aesthetic awareness.
We are fortunate to have a large art room and ample supplies and tools to fulfill the curriculum. Please stop by and check out the art produced by our students displayed on the boards about the school and cafeteria. We have some future Picassos and Van Goghs, and just all around creative minds eager to learn. I truly believe in the mission and philosophy at Star of the Sea Elementary School and have seen the students blossom and succeed in this environment. I look forward to teaching your children. |
