Congratulations to our 2016 “National Geography” Bee Winners – Alexa Chinen (1st place) and Stacie Bae (2nd place). Twenty-one contestants from 6th thru 8th grade competed in the fun, yet challenging, contest. They were quizzed on all kinds of facts ranging from State to Worldwide facts. Alexa will now continue onto the State competition where she’ll definitely represent our school well. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL PARTICIPANTS!!!
Star of the Sea School is a fully accredited Catholic grades one through eight school, with a Toddler to kindergarten early learning center adjacent to our campus. Our school has been operating since 1946; and with that goes a long proud heritage and alumni base. Star of the Sea School services Catholic and non-Catholic students from the Parish community and various geographic areas of O‘ahu and abroad.
Our excellent teachers and staff are committed to working hard to provide a 21st century learning curriculum that will help our students learn and grow. With an average class size of fifteen, the teachers and students work closely together to reach the high academic goals of the school. Our 100% high school acceptance rates into our top high schools in the State is a representation of Star of the Sea School’s solid academic program that inspires and creates high achieving students. We are very proud of our accomplishments and we look forward to continued growth in providing a safe learning environment and quality education to spiritually, academically, physically, and socially nourish the lives of our students.
