Year Started at Star of the Sea:  2007

It has been a pleasure working at Star of the Sea School for the pasts three years. Working with the students and being able to incorporate God in daily activities is such a blessing for me. Being educated in a Catholic school, and then being able to teach in the same environment has been a type of homecoming for me.

My philosophy in teaching is to treat each and every student as I would like to be treated myself. It has been a journey, teaching for the past 15 years. Teaching math at the middle school level has been both challenging and rewarding at the same time. Each day is never the same. I believe that is one of the main reasons that I enjoy teaching.

The faculty and staff are like a family that works together to accomplish the goals at hand. Each person is a piece of the puzzle that meshes together to create something very special each and every year.

As we prepare for the 2020/21 school year, the safety and health of our ohana is our #1 priority.  See our Back to School Plan of Action for our in-person learning starting Monday, August 3, 2020.
