Admissions Process

We are currently accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year.  Please contact our Admission’s Department if you are looking to enroll your child in the current 2020-21 school year.  Late applications may be considered depending on class availability.

Mary, Star of the Sea School is an educational community dedicated to academic excellence and Christian value education. As educators, we keep ourselves informed on current educational issues that may affect our schools. We are continuously striving to enrich our present educational program in an effort to offer this community the best curriculum possible.

Our intention is to provide quality educational choices within the core curriculum while maintaining a high level of academic excellence and Christian value education. Year-round education allows us to truly make things happen! It provides the entire community an opportunity to continue to learn and grow together on a year-round basis.

Applications are processed in the School office, Monday through Friday. Please bring the following items with you or mail them in:

  • Birth Certificate or Passport
  • Child’s Current Report Card *
  • Teacher’s Reference Report
  • Baptism Certificate (if Catholic)
  • Nonrefundable Application Fee ($100.00)

*If your child is entering the First grade, please bring an Evaluation Report from the present Kindergarten.

New students applying for grades Kindergarten through eight are required to take an entrance examination scheduled in February. In addition to the examination, new students are asked to submit: Physical Examination/TB skin test immunization records.
