What a great way to start your day AND at the same time celebrate the finish of a book! That’s exactly how the Middle School book club finished off the book “Tuck Everlasting” by Natalie Babbitt. They arranged a morning meeting at the Kahala Mall Starbucks.
Middle School teacher Lydia Green started the Breakfast Book Club last year to promote a positive/active reading community. Each quarter the club reads a novel which they discuss together on a biweekly basis over breakfast food. The first 3 meetings are held at the school and the 4th (and final) meeting for the novel is held at Starbucks.
If you’re a middle school student and interested in joining the book club, contact Mrs. Green!
