Mrs Hodge began teaching at MSOS in 2018. She embraces education and learning that is lifelong, promotes the development of positive relationships among students, faculty, staff, and administrators, and fosters academic achievement.
Mrs. Hodge’s first career was a microbiologist before she pursued her passion to be an educator. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology. She received a Post Baccalaureate Degree of Science from Eastern Michigan University in Education (elementary education, middle level mathematics, & middle level science). Mrs. Hodge has worked within the State of Hawaii Department of Education system as a math, science, and elementary teacher.
Family is very important to Mrs. Hodge. She is fully committed to her husband and 2-year old daughter. In her spare time, she likes reading, traveling, photography, swimming, and enjoying all the beauty that the Lord has blessed the island with. Mrs. Hodge believes that a good teacher, takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.
