Playground becomes a reality after 5 years in the making!
After 5 years of researching, planning and fundraising, the Mary Star of the Sea School Playground finally became a reality. On August 26th, 2016, Father Pat officially opened the playground with his blessing. We want to thank you for your donations and support. The playground’s centerpiece climbing structure is a first of its kind here in Hawaii. There was such a buzz that local news covered the blessing and other local schools are now looking into having one installed. It was designed in Germany and young and old alike can climb it … even Father Pat gave it a try!
